MIKE CONLON, VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSTRUCTION
Mr. Conlon runs the firm's construction and development operations overseeing plan development, purchasing, scheduling, project budgets, offsite improvements, field construction and customer service personnel, and interaction with governmental agencies. He is a lifetime Los Angeles County resident with over 25 years experience in California homebuilding.
He was Director of Construction Operations with Brock Homes, Orange County Division between 1975 and 1985, establishing the Division's Quality Control and Scheduling Standards. In 1986, he joined The Fieldstone Company as a Partner/Inland Region Director of Construction and for 13 years participated on a management team that was responsible for the construction and sale of numerous successful residential projects in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties.
Mr. Conlon is a member of the Building Industry Association, serving two terms as a Director of the Homebuilders Council, and has been a licensed California General Contractor for 15 years.
JONATHAN LONNER, DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
Mr. Lonner handles the predevelopment activities of the firm including land acquisition, entitlements, public/private partnerships, financing, project management as well as sales and marketing. Prior to joining Lee Homes in March 2003, Mr. Lonner was Director of Planning and Public Affairs for Garcia, McCoy and Lee Consulting Group, a boutique land-use and public affairs firm founded by partners Dan Garcia, Lucy McCoy and Mee Lee. Prior to that he was editor of two of Southern California’s premiere monthly publications, The Planning Report and Metro Investment Report, which cover land-use, housing, public investment and related issues in Southern California. Mr. Lonner holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from Arizona State University and graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with Masters Degrees in Urban Planning and Public Administration.
Mr. Lonner has received a Merit Award from the California Planning Foundation for outstanding Graduate work, Certificate of Merit for Leadership from the University of Southern California and has recently been recognized by the Anti-Defamation League for completion of its Salvin Leadership Institute. Mr. Lonner is a former Advisory Member to the American Planning Association’s National Board of Directors.
